Christina Rondeau’s Kickboxing is the proud sponsor of 13 year old Rayna Digiacomo, for the 2021 Miss Rhode Island Pageant. Rayna, from Providence RI and a student of Tapa Performing Arts has a dream. That dream is to acquire the title of Miss Rhode Island Outstanding Teen. Rayna is currently the Princess to Miss RI Molly Andrade. Rayna and her family have had not had it easy the last year and half. Rayna’s mother, due to the covid pandemic, lost her job and before she knew it, was unable to pay her rent thus ending up homeless. She recently got her job back, and was able to put her family of three up in a hotel until she is able to secure an apartment. Through all of this, she wakes each day in the hopes to see her daughter’s dreams come true.
Upon Rayna’s mother Mellissa reaching out to Christina Rondeau to help as a sponsor, Christina through her Knockout Wishes Organization, was able to make one child’s dream come true and sponsor Rayna to enter the pageant. The pageant is June 13th and we can’t wait to see Rayna shine and we hope that through teaching the lesson that through many life challenges you can stay focused on your goal and there are good people who will help you out when you need a little help along the way.
